We have had a busy week in Pearl Class! We have signed our school charter and agreed to follow the ideas we came up with last week. Today Mr Paterson showed us the swimming pool and our 2 helpers had to help him rescue some rubber ducks!
It has also been lovely to receive and then share WOWs for some of the children. Please feel free to send these as and when they occur using earlyyears@downhallprimary.com. They are displayed in the class and then at the end of each term they are added to your child's Learning Journey book. WOWs can take the form of a written comment and/or photo and as I said before just is anything that has made you proud.
On to our learning for next week, we will be:
- Learning about the different parts of a book during our story sessions.
- Reading and sharing the story "Ten in the Bed" and then singing the number rhyme we learnt last week with the same name.
- Playing some Circle Time games.
- Creating some lolly stick teddy bear puppets.
- Playing some number games using our namecards.
