WOW! What a busy first week! I have been very impressed with how well all the children have settled into Pearl Class, you may have seen on the newsletter that, because of this, all the children are pupil of the week! 😊
From next week, there is a new dinner menu, this works on a 3 week basis and we start on week 1. The new menu can be found here.
I just wanted to clarify the situation regarding bags in school. The children can bring in a book bag, however we don't have anything to go in these yet, so please don't worry if your child does not have one. The children do not need to bring in any bags on a Friday as this is our PE day, they simply wear their kit to school. On to our learning for next week, we will be:
- Sharing some more stories together and talking about what happens in them.
- Using scissors to carefully cut out different types of lines.
- Writing our names to start our names display in our classroom.
- Continuing to sing our "How Many Days" song and finding out what happens when we get to 10 days.
- Singing number rhymes, including the silly one about the monkeys and the crocodile!
- Having our school photographs taken on Thursday.
