Happy Friday Everybody!
We have had a lovely week in school this week, painting our castles and writing poems about jousting knights. The children have all worked very hard and we are very proud of them!
Homework
The children have their spelling sheets and their CGP Maths books which we would like them to complete this week please. This is related to their learning in school this week and they also have a new Animaphonics reading book in their bags.
Maths Year 1 - Complete pages 66 and 67 - Position
Maths Year 2 - Complete pages 28 and 29 - Times Tables (2s, 5s and 10s)
Please try to read regularly with your child at home. Little and often is best, so just a few pages each night. It can make such a difference to your child's progress in reading and writing. Thank you!
Don't forget that if you have any questtions or concerns you can message us via Dojo or pop down and see us at the end of the day. We will always listen and help in any way that we can.
Don't forget that PE is on TUESDAY next week. Bluebell Class will still have Forest School on Tuesday but will not be outside for long, given the weather forecast.
Upcoming events
Friday13th February 2026 is wellbeing day. The children can come to school wearing comfortable clothing. We are also using the day to raise money for our local charity 'Little Havens'. We would be grateful if you could send in a small donation to support this. Thank you!
The PTA disco is also on Friday 13th February:
KS1 5pm-6pm and KS2 6:15pm - 7:15pm
